To download a photo or graphic image, right-click the item. Select Save Picture As then navigate to where you want to save the item. If the folder you want is not showing, click anywhere in the Save in box, select the drive, then open the folder by double-clicking it. Rename the file your saving if you want (but don't alter the file type). Click Save and item will be saved to your disk. Don't forget where you saved it to, and also that some images are copyrighted.
You may find that the webmaster has disabled the right-mouse button. It's easy enough to get round this, but they obviously don't want anyone borrowing their images!

This simple procedure seems to baffle most newcomers to computers. If you left-click a point on the screen (where the text that you want to copy is), then while still holding the left button down, swipe across the text you want. Release the mouse button and the text should stay highlighted. Right-click your mouse on the highlighted area, then from the menu that appears, select Copy. You can swipe the whole screen if you want to. When you select Copy, the text will stay in your computer's memory until you Cut or Copy something else.
To retrieve it, you need somewhere to put it. Go into My Documents or any folder you fancy. Right-click your mouse on any empty place on the screen and select New. Keep your cursor there until the next menu comes up and click Text Document. A new text page will be created called New text Document.txt. Open the new text page and right-click your mouse anywhere on the empty screen. This will bring up the menu again. Select 'Paste' and the text will be pasted into your document. Save the file and exit.
If your not very good with a mouse, you can select text by moving the cursor with the Arrow keys. When you get to the text you want, hold the Shift key down while using the Arrow keys to highlight the text. You can then use the Edit pulldown menu at the top of the page, and select Copy.
To create a new text file, you can also use the File dropdown menu at the top of the screen, and select Text Document in exactly the same way.
